We Are All Royalty
Have you ever noticed how some days you feel blooming fabulous, like nothing can touch you and life is amazing? That my dear friend is you tapping in to your inner queen. Guys, you can be queens too! The thing is, on those days it is easy to feel like royalty.
The truly regal status comes when you are stuffed full of cold, the kids have puked in the bed, the dog has peed on the floor and the heating has broken, but you still smile. You clean up your kid and put new sheets on their bed. You mop up the pee and you wrap up in a blanket while smiling and saying it’s ok, I’ve got this… and wipe your nose cause its running. Then you hunt for the radiator key to bleed the radiators to try and get the heat working before your nose has icicles hanging from it. Those are the days where you are a true queen.
Do you walk down the street running errands, trying to pick up your dry cleaning, get your shoes mended, pick up the groceries, post those parcels and don’t forget the birthday card and present for the party your kid is going to tomorrow. Running around because you have to pick one child up in four hours the other in five hours. Oh shoot and you need to walk the dog or it’ll pee in the house. Darn it, need to clean the rabbit out which means going across the other side of town to get the hay.
