Surviving the holidays

As the school holidays begin I am struck by how many parents are already stressing about what to do with their children. Like it’s some big quest to fill the next six weeks with continual forms of entertainment. Some are even planning their get aways, because the thought of spending six whole weeks in the company of their own child is just too scary.
