I have seen and read so many articles from my fellow writers…

• how to make $10K a month on Medium… or more
• how to get more readers
• how to grow your followers
• how I make $3k per story

Basically, how I am doing so much better than you. Now I am not knocking these articles at all. And I do know that the writers are not writing these to say they are doing so much better than me, that is my little insecure interpretation when I’m having a bad day lol. I know that these lovely writers are trying to help those of us who are not there yet and I applaud them for that.

But there is a common theme that can be summed up in every one of these articles. ALL of them pretty much say the same thing and I can condense this for those of you that have not read them.

• Write prolifically, and consistently
• Write what others want to read
• Write well
• Write about things you are passionate about, but also make sure that it is something others want to read because self-indulgent writing is not what others will read and if you only write for you, you will put your reader off… phew, I’m out of breath saying…
