Harry and Meghan
My heart goes out to these two. People need to just leave them alone. It really is none of our business.
Firstly, Harry is sixth in line to the throne, that would mean that a terrible tragedy would have to befall five other members of the royal family before he would be crowned. So the chances of that, I think we are all able to agree, are pretty darn slim. So this isn’t the case of an ‘heir’ to the throne throwing away his position.
Secondly, the British tabloids are absolutely disgusting. Not satisfied with causing the death of his mother, they are now happy to cause his wife to be in a vulnerable and emotional state. Why should they get away with that and why is that so easily accepted by the British public?
It makes me cringe at being British. We look like a nation of racist, bigoted, misogynistic, narrow minded imbeciles. Thank you Daily Mail, The Express, The Mirror and all other crappy tabloids for your contributions to this view the world now has of us.
Thirdly, the Royal Family is an institution that no regular person can possibly understand. So stop having your opinion on what they ‘should’ have done, or how they ‘should’ have handled it. You cannot comprehend the intricacies of living, working, breathing in the shadow of the Queen, because you aren’t doing it.
